Media Lab Asia is engaged in development and deployment of ICT technologies for common man, mainly in the areas of Education (including Empowerment of Disabled), Livelihood Generation and healthcare. The objective of Media Lab Asia includes establishment of a National and International network of people, projects and laboratories dedicated to bringing benefits of the most advanced ICT technologies and to cooperate / work with educational research institutions, industry, NGOs (national, international and other multilateral agencies) to reach innovations and research benefits to all parts of India, specially village economy and rural areas.
MLAsia intends taking up projects which are interdisciplinary / multi-institutional. Media Lab Asia will act as a binding organization to hold different Research Partners and the activities together by way of proper project management during the development of ICT based products & services.
In the above context, MLAsia invites concept notes in the high order research areas. (Areas like Human Computer Interaction, Ubiquitous Computing, Next Gen Networking, Digital Content Graphics / Multimedia & Value Added Services on Mobile / Internet would be preferred).
